Juan José Guzmán Ayala
Co-Founder
Juan José Guzmán is an economist and sustainable development professional, an expert in the development of corporate strategies for the management of risks and financial opportunities arising from climate change and nature loss, as well as in the structuring and management of public and private projects in climate mitigation and adaptation. For more than six years he has advised Fortune 500 companies, government entities, multilateral banks, think tanks, and financial institutions in the Americas, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. His focus is on structuring, coordinating, and executing innovative financial and economic strategies to achieve ambitious, actionable, and cost-effective climate and nature objectives.
Juan José holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and sustainable development from Columbia University in New York City, where he also obtained two master's degrees, one in Public Administration (MPA) and another in Public Health (MPH).

Mateo Prada Quintero
Co-Founder
Mateo Prada is an economist and philosopher with over seven years of experience advising government entities, corporations, multilateral organizations, and non-profits across the Americas and Eastern Africa. He has expertise in developing climate and shock-responsive social protection programs and structuring projects that advance climate and nature goals while promoting human development. He also designs and implements strategies to foster local bioeconomies that enhance livelihoods through R&D. His work centers on unlocking financial resources and creating economic instruments, policies, and strategies that achieve climate and nature-positive pathways and socioeconomic resilience.
Mateo holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and philosophy, as well as a master’s in Applied Environmental Economics from Universidad de los Andes. He also earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University in New York City.

Lucia Castiblanco Narváez
Senior Advisor, Financed Emissions and Regulatory Compliance
Lucia is a lawyer and economist with over seven years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies, government entities, and multilateral organizations across the Americas. She specializes in measuring and disclosing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for financial institutions, helping them accurately account for their financed emissions and facilitating the sector's transition toward net-zero. In addition to her climate expertise, Lucia is an authority on antitrust law and economics. She focuses on regulation and the promotion of competitive markets, assisting companies navigating complex antitrust regulations, and advising policymakers in designing effective policies.
Lucia holds bachelors’ degrees in law and economics from Universidad de los Andes, as well as a master’s degree in Applied Economics. She also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University in New York City.

Gabriela Hernández
Junior Advisor
Gabriela is an economics student at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia with a deep passion for sustainability and climate action. She is the co-founder and Associate Director of Life of Pachamama, a youth-led initiative focused on climate justice, where she has spearheaded fundraising strategies and collaborated on educational and diplomatic efforts to drive impactful environmental advocacy.
With experience in research and public engagement, Gabriela has contributed to Rethinking Economics, a global network reimagining economic education, and has presented at international conferences on ecological economics.
Gabriela has represented Colombia in major global climate forums, including COP28. She brings strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills to her work at the intersection of climate finance, policy, and youth engagement.

Sofía Gómez
Junior Advisor
Sofía Gómez is a double major student of Economics and Political Science, with over five years of experience in climate policy, diplomacy, the non-profit sector, public policy analysis, and electoral strategy design. She has led international teams in youth-driven climate organizations, focusing on high-impact communication and advocacy strategies that have garnered international media recognition and influenced national politics in Colombia.
Sofía currently serves as an elected official on Chapinero’s Youth Council, representing a youth-led climate organization. Alongside her studies, she has spent the past two years working in climate finance policy from the think tank and consulting industry, where she develops briefings and insights for policy-making processes.
Sofía Gómez is pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science, with a minor in International Affairs from Universidad de los Andes.

Advisor, Communications
Sofía is a biologist, specializing in strategic communications, sustainability, and circular economy solutions. She has led communications and engagement efforts for sustainability-driven organizations, translating complex environmental data into actionable strategies.
At Waste2Worth LATAM, she managed sustainability-focused communications for major brands, ensuring clarity and impact in messaging. As a strategist at Xiclo App, she played a key role in expanding a circular economy startup’s reach, increasing visibility and driving customer engagement.
She founded Ser y Hacer Eco, an environmental education platform that built partnerships with organizations like the UNDP, Bancolombia, and Natura to amplify climate awareness.
She holds a degree in biology with a minor in government and public policy from Universidad de los Andes.

Juan Pablo Sierra
Junior Advisor
Juan Pablo is a government and public affairs professional with experience in climate diplomacy, youth advocacy, and public policy. He has worked at the intersection of climate and biodiversity, contributing to policy briefs and strategic initiatives for major international forums like COP16 and COP30.
As a Local Youth Councilor in Bogotá, he was elected to represent young people in public institutions, advocating for youth-focused policies. He co-founded PactoXElClima, where he led political advocacy efforts, and engaged with government officials to advance climate policies, including Bogotá’s Climate Emergency Declaration.
He has also served as a youth climate expert for Unite for Climate Action, where he built relationships with decision-makers and represented civil society at UNFCCC sessions, including COP26.
He holds a degree in Government and Public Affairs from Universidad de los Andes.
